Wellness Safari
A wellness centre offering treatment for addiction and mental health issues built around a foundation of the South African bush.
Our Mission
To help clients heal and to lay the foundations for them to realize their potential, and guide them towards an empowered, productive, fulfilling, and conscious life.
Location
The facility will be located on a 450ha non Big 5 game farm, near Hoedspruit, South Africa.
On the doorstep to the famous Kruger National Park, all aspects of the healing process will integrate the excitement of being in the bush and in and amongst wilderness and wildlife.
The centre is easily accessible from Eastgate International Airport and only 4 ½ hour drive from Johannesburg.
It is close enough to Hoedspruit for medical practitioners to drive out each day and to allow easy access to the new well equipped hospital in Hoedspruit.
Facilities
The facility will be comfortable yet simple, designed using a combination of existing buildings along the Olifants River and additional tented camp accommodation
Amenities in the centre will include a swimming pool and a fully equipped gym and clients will be encouraged to walk and mountain bike amongst the wildlife.
It will accommodate up to 24 clients at a time. Men and women will be separated for a more effective and manageable therapeutic environment.

Therapeutic Approach
The centre will adopt a multi disciplinary and holistic approach to treatment, using various methods to help clients heal their body, mind, and soul.
While more traditional treatment methods will also be used, the centre will differentiate itself in this area by incorporating breathwork and a wilderness program into the approach to treatment.
Family Support
An important part of Wellness Safari will be the support of families of clients.
The centre will be designed to accommodate six family members in a different section of the property.
We believe that the family is central to the healing process and are often neglected.
A special process will be designed to support and educate the family as to their roles and to help them be better prepared to support their loved one’s journey back to health.
Online services will be available to family members that aren’t able to be on site.

The client would have a desire to live a healthy and sober life by taking a holistic approach to caring for themselves.
The client would further desire to extend this care by having a positive impact on the lives of others and being part of a more conscious generation.
This would be underpinned by certain core values, such as strength and compassion.
Clients would be willing to go through a process of transformation, for themselves, and thus, the world.
